Getting to you here
This is the mainland pin. Cosham sits under the hill, with the hospital, the station, and the lakeside offices all in a short run from the motorway. A blowout on the M27 is not a Cosham driveway. A flat at Queen Alexandra Hospital is a car park with a time limit. Say which of those grounds you are on. There is still no public street for a depot, and no second site further west.
Inside PO6
Cosham. High Street, the station bridge, and the streets under the hill. This is the pin. Work still happens at the vehicle, not in a bay we own.
Cosham Station. The mainland station for the island. Commuter bays, a fast road, and punctures found before the first train. Say north or south of the line.
Portsdown Hill. The ridge above the city. Viewpoints, the forts, and a road that ices. A puncture on the hill is often a car that has nowhere safe to sit; recovery may come first.
Queen Alexandra Hospital. Staff and visitor decks, barriers, and short stays. A flat here is a car that still has an appointment. Name the car park letter if you have it.
Wymering. West of Cosham, under the hill. Residential streets and a mix of cars and light vans. Driveway jobs are the usual call.
Paulsgrove. Further west again, toward the motorway. Steeper streets and a lot of parked cars. A locking nut on an evening driveway is typical.
Drayton (Portsmouth). East of Cosham, toward Farlington. Shops and side streets. A slow leak found outside the shops is a car already in the way.
Farlington. Marshes on one side, the A27 on the other. A puncture on the marsh road is exposed. On the estate streets it is ordinary kerbside work.
Port Solent. The marina, the boardwalk, and the barriers. A flat in a marina bay needs a code more often than a size. Give both.
Lakeside North Harbour. Office parks, roundabouts, and long stays. Van tyres and family cars share the same decks. Name the building; the bays repeat.
M27 Junction 12 (Port Solent). The motorway node itself. A blowout on the slip is recovery until the vehicle is off the live lane. Do not sit on the hatchings waiting for a fitting.
Cosham is the pin, not a workshop you drive to.
The hill, the motorway and the marina are three different jobs. Name which one.
